Mental health program for Black/ African American Creatives/ Artists (Ages 18 & Older) 8 people per group) $100 per participant
Week 1 -3 In these first 3 weeks participants are going on an Journey of Self - Discovery. Which basically means that they’ll be learning internally about who they are and what makes them who they are.
One one breakthrough sessions are scheduled once a week- to give participants the space and confidentiality to speak freely about what they need and any questions they have about the program.
Week 3-6 During the last 3 weeks of class participants are building up their community art workshops using their art of choice i.e.; singing, rapping, poetry, visual art, painting, drawing, dancing, fitness/yoga, etc. This is where mock workshops will be shown and how to create workshops will be shown.
Also, there’s a workforce development portion in the last week of class in order to help participants if in need of resources to prepare for an interview, apply for jobs, and fix their resumes.
Week 6-9- Participants are to complete 5 workshops in their community to graduate out of the program. Photos are taken and attendance. The participants become the host/ teachers of their own Community Art workshops.

Have to participate in one on one sessions
Must complete all 6 classes and 5 workshops to graduate from the program
